To multiply yourself, you need a team that complies.
Compliance requires you to establish a system with checks and balances, along with a reporting mechanism.
Assess compliance and improve the system based on the evaluated performance.
This cycle (create > evaluate > iterate) continues. With each cycle, the goal is to achieve higher compliance. Ultimately, we want to be able to identify non-compliant individuals, pinpoint the problems, and troubleshoot.
Example 01
In the case of internal missions, create a system that requests project owners to ping you with updates on a defined cadence, allowing you to receive and process updates at once.
Example 02
Setting up a meeting with all project owners and clarifying expectations and reporting cadence. The following week, we can determine who is not meeting expectations. Better yet, we should also have a dashboard accessible to everyone, displaying who met the expectations and who didn’t.
