What does Lift do?
Simply, it tracks whatever daily habit that is important to you. Here’s a list of a few habits I track.
- No snooze button
- Wake up early
- Daily affirmations
- Drink more water
- Set priorities for your day
You can also follow others, get ‘props’, and make comments on your daily activities.
Why is this important?
Simply, you cannot expect to improve what you are not measuring. Tracking daily habits is the first and most important step to achieving any long term goal. There’s a lot of great brain science now that describes the importance of small daily routines versus big periodic tasks. Ultimately – despite common knowledge – it’s waaaaaaay easier to do something every day than it is to do it 3 or 4 times a week. More on this in another post on “habits”.
